Travel Considerations
Flying into Lewisburg can be difficult. The nearest "major" airport is Harrisburg International Airport, which is roughly 80 minutes away. There are also smaller airports in State College, Williamsport, and Wilkes-Barre. It is often easier to fly into Philadelphia, Newark, or JFK and then drive the 2 - 3 hours to Lewisburg. Aside from renting a car, you can use Susquehanna Valley Limo or there are a small number of Uber/Lyft drivers in the area. There is also someone that drives many faculty and professionals to/from these airports for a very reasonable rate. If interested, please contact the secretary of the CS for contact information.
Restaurants
Lunches each day will be on your own. The Bison Center on campus will be open for lunch and is located in the Elaine Langone Center. Most restaurants in town are located along Market Street between 3rd and 6th Streets. This area is about a twenty minute walk from campus. Suggestions for lunch include: AmaMi (also a coffeehouse), Sushi Hanna, Grams, Grams Express, All Star Bagel, Abrana Maries, and Siam Cafe. Many of these restaurants will be open for dinner and other dinner suggestions include Elizabeth’s and Brasserie Louis.
Tourist Information
Central Pennsylvania is home to many national parks that offer great hiking and biking trails. Ricketts Glen State Park (many waterfalls) and R.B. Winter State Park are both popular state parks close to Lewisburg. Other interesting stops include Penns Cave, Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland, the Corning Museum of Glass, and the Little League Baseball Hall of Fame. As mentioned previously, Lewisburg is within 3 hours of most major east coast cities.
Masking Policy at Bucknell University
Currently, face-masks must be warn in all public spaces on Bucknell campus regardless of vaccination status.

The Scientific Programming Committee will continue to accept abstracts for poster presentations until November 1, 2021. Please submit your abstract using the Abstract Submission portal shown on the 2021 meeting page (https://theclassificationsociety.org/annual-meeting/2021/).
